Education
Bachelor's Degree - OP JINDAL GLOBAL UNIVERSITYÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 2020-2023
B.COMM Honours with a major in Banking and Finance
This degree provided my fundamental "map" of the financial world. My studies focused on market dynamics, quantitative finance, and corporate law. Beyond the theory, I developed a strong foundation in data visualization using Tableau and advanced Excel. Graduating with Merit, I came away with a deep respect for financial precision and a drive to apply these models to real-world deal structures.
Master's Degree - QueenMary university of London    2024-2025
MSc Economics with a major in Investment Banking
Master’s was about bridging the gap between academic theory and "desk-ready" technical skills. I specialized in Mergers & Acquisitions, Financial Derivatives, and Financial Modeling. Earning a Distinction was a personal milestone that proved I have the stamina and analytical rigour required for the high-intensity environment of Investment Banking.
CFA LEVEL 1 CANDIDATE
For me, the CFA is the "gold standard" of professional discipline. I am currently preparing for Level 1 to ensure my grasp of investment tools, asset classes, and ethical standards is ironclad. I believe that relentlessly strengthening these fundamentals is the best way to provide immediate value to a deal team from day one.
TECHNICAL WORKFLOW & CERTIFICATES
Financial Forecasting & Modeling | City Investment Training:Â A rigorous technical program where I prepared integrated financial statements and analyzed revenue recognition trends. I focused on the logic behind the numbers, projecting equity growth and building robust valuation models.
Â
M&A and Valuation | Coursera (In Progress):Â I am currently deepening my expertise in M&A-specific valuation techniques. This ongoing study focuses on identifying synergies and building defensible models, ensuring I am up-to-date with current industry standards.
Work Experience
Interim Financial Modeler | Neotas
Sep 2025 – Jan 2025
Working directly under the CFO, I contributed to high-level financial strategy by building and maintaining detailed 5-year financial projections. My tenure focused on "zero-error" data reconciliation and auditing revenue files to support investor pitch decks and presentations. This role taught me how accuracy and clarity in financial reporting directly influence senior-level decision-making.
Research and Finance Associate | Insight Alpha
June 2023 – June 2024
In this high-velocity role, I managed over 120 end-to-end research projects for global investment clients. I was responsible for the full project lifecycle-from identifying industry experts to delivering strategic competitor profiling and trend analysis. Handling intense deadline pressure across diverse sectors developed my ability to synthesize complex information into actionable investment-grade insights.
INTERNSHIPS
Before committing to M&A, I explored various sectors to challenge my commercial intuition. These roles confirmed that my calling lies in the analytical and strategic side of finance.
Â
Portfolio & Risk Analysis | BB Advisory: This was my transition into technical finance. I analyzed investment opportunities and risk profiles, applying strategies that resulted in a tangible profit for a client. This experience confirmed my desire to build a career where my analysis has a direct impact on the bottom line.
Â
Life Sciences Research | Schrocken: I conducted deep-dive research within the life sciences sector, refining the "detective" mindset necessary for rigorous due diligence. It taught me that the most valuable insights are found through meticulous data hunting.
Â
Business Model Development | Idobro - Rise Infinity Foundation: I architected growth strategies for small-scale entrepreneurs, learning how to evaluate operational viability and identify the synergies needed to scale—both core components of the M&A process.
Â
Sales & Fundraising | Vestige & Aashman Foundation: Early in my journey, I mastered professional pitching and capital mobilization. Leading a successful fundraising campaign for the Milk Bank initiative taught me how to build a compelling "investment case" and engage stakeholders effectively.
SKILLS
Technical Foundations

Building the base through academic rigor and interim exposure.

-
Financial Modeling (Excel): I spent my MSc (Distinction) and my time at Neotas learning the mechanics of 3-statement models and 5-year projections. I am proficient in Excel and understand the logic of how a business is built on paper, but I’m eager to see how these models are stress-tested in real-world deal scenarios.

-
Valuation Methodology: I have a strong theoretical grasp of DCFs, comparables, and merger modeling through intensive university projects (like my HUB Group/XPO Logistics analysis). I’ve built these models from scratch and understand the math, and I’m ready to refine that precision within a professional deal team.

-
Commercial Research: My year at Insight Alpha taught me how to dig for data. I completed over 120 projects, which involved competitor analysis and industry profiling. It gave me a realistic look at how to find and organize information under tight deadlines- a skill I want to apply to supporting senior bankers on live mandates.
Graduate Operating Principals

My approach to the "Analyst" role.

-
The Learning Curve:Â I am currently preparing for the CFA Level 1 and completing a City Investment Training course because I know how much I still have to learn. I view myself as a work-in-progress and am looking for a team that will push me to sharpen my technical skills every single day.

-
Commitment to Precision: In my interim role at Neotas, I’ve learned that accuracy in a revenue file is non-negotiable. I don’t claim to be perfect, but I am obsessive about checking my own work and reconciling data to ensure that when a senior team member looks at my output, it’s a reliable foundation for them.

-
Reliability Under Pressure:Â My time in consulting (Insight Alpha) taught me that the industry doesn't stop. I am fully prepared for the long hours and high intensity of deal execution. I have the stamina to stay focused and deliver quality work when the stakes are high and the deadlines are short.

-
Adaptable Communication: Whether I’m assisting the CFO with pitch decks or coordinating with international experts, I focus on being clear, concise, and helpful. I understand that my role as a junior is to be a force-multiplier for the team, making sure the process runs as smoothly as possible.
Core Traits & Drive

-
Calculated Ambition: I didn’t just stumble into finance; I moved from the Himalayas to London specifically to build a career in M&A. I am bold in my goals and confident in the training I’ve received through my MSc and Neotas. I’m not looking for a "job"- I’m looking for the "seat" where I can prove my value and earn my place at the top of the industry.
 -
The "Unstickable" Mindset: My year at Insight Alpha, completing 120+ high-pressure projects, taught me that "giving up" isn't an option when a client is waiting. I’ve learned to be a creative problem-solver, if a data point is missing or a model isn’t balancing, I don’t just flag it- I try to find a workaround before asking for help.
 -
Humble Confidence: I’ve had the privilege of working directly under a CFO and managing global stakeholders. These experiences taught me to be confident in my output but soft in my delivery. I understand that as a graduate, my job is to be professional, polite, and observant while soaking up the professional "polish" and deal-intuition that comes from veteran mentorship.
 -
Intellectual Curiosity: Beyond the spreadsheets, I have a genuine passion for the "why" behind the business- whether it’s advising small businesses through the IDOBRO Foundation or analyzing market trends for fun. I’m a creative thinker who looks for patterns, not just numbers. I’m ready to be the person who works through the night to make sure a pitch deck is perfect, because I actually care about the outcome.
